Pasadena Rotary’s “Shop With A Cop” partners with the Pasadena Police Department and the Pasadena Boys & Girls Club. Youth in need are selected by the Pasadena Boys & Girls Club to participate in a shopping trip at a local Target store.
The goal of this program is to provide a positive experience where youth are “partnered” with a police officer for an afternoon of shopping to create a bond of trust and start to develop a positive relationship with police officers.
Pasadena Rotary does two Shop With A Cop Events. One is timed so youth from the Pasadena Boys & Girls Club can purchase needed back-to-school supplies and the second is just before the winter holidays.
